Melissa

Here is a little sneakpeak of my unfinished Melissa kofte (knitted stranded jacket).
I have spent ages knitting it, and I made the decition to divide for sleeves and I am not sure  if it was the right decition..as I find purling stranded really difficult...and it takes a loooooong time.

The good news is that i am soon finished with the first half of the front..that makes me very happy.

Thwe wool used is 3.threads from Sjølingstad  woolen mill in Mandal , Southern Norway. The colours are pink and black.

I guess I wanted something a little different.
And..I so LOVE the result, even if I have used smaller needles 3.5 mm and 2.5 mm...very compact and I don't think it will even fit met..yet! Oh well...something to look forward to I guess!!
Take care my lovelies, hugs MariaLinn

Wear yellow for St.Andrews

Curlie Wurlie Doo and her classmates in Primary 6 did a sponsored walk for St. Andrews Hospice. A place where cancer patients can get treatment and rest. They do a wonderful job.

The walk they did was a 6 k walk and they spend half the day there and had a great time. Well done everyone.

Going forward

It has been a few days of business, I haven't been on the treadmill since Sunday, because yesterday I had to take daughter to the orthodontist, and we came home with recommendation of removing 5 of her teeth. I guess there will be a couple of visits to the dentist in the nearest future.

Also, daughter is going on a camping trip with the Guides, and we got the information about when to do and what to bring along. It's all very exciting, as she has never been sleeping in a tent before.

The good news is that I have lost a bit of weight since last week...so today I actually weighed 91.6. Very happy about that!! First time I have been undet 93 since last year. I have been stuck for a looong time! But I think i have managed to get myself moving again! Yippie!!

Anyway, time to get moving...it's school and activities today.

HAve a great day, MariaLinn
