next ones

  1. Simplify work tasks. Well, m work is simple...home, helping at WW and also Avon...There are thingsI need to do to make it funciton, and that is just the way it is.
  2. Simplify home tasks. What needs done, needs done..I probably do not do enough, and I am trying to have less stuff...just to make life simpler and easier!
  3. Learn to say no. I alreadu say no when it's needed. My door is not being run down with people that asks me for help anyway..so I 'm good ;)

Just another

It's just another Monday, Princess is off school today....she didn't really feel great! Don't think she will sit here at home doing nothing, just watching tv..oh no!!

She isn't THAT ill, so she is working with her Norwegian homework, and it's really needed as we have fallen behind big style.

Then again ,we are working double..that means both 1 and 2 grade at the same time..just to be able to do 3rd grade on it's own after the summer holiday. So wee need to put in 3 hours every week I think- to catch up.

Yesterday we had lunch at mother in law's , it was a really nice dinner with lovely wine and too good a cake after. Result is of course..half a kilo on since yesterday morning. Oh well...not to worry to much. We don't see her that often anyway, I think I can live with it!!

Time

It's not the time that really is the issue...not really, the time is being spent getting rid of stuff that clutter up my life, when they are gone, the time will be spent on doing the stuff I love... so I need to do some decluttering!!


New conclusion..I spend way too mch time on the laptop, so I need to limit myself a bit. A couple of blog updates during the day maybe, and then not until evening time. I will also check my email during the day, but that's it!

Evaluate

Evaluate your commitments. Look at everything you’ve got going on in your life. Everything, from work to home to civic to kids’ activities to hobbies to side businesses to other projects. Think about which of these really gives you value, which ones you love doing. Which of these are in line with the 4-5 most important things you listed above? Most of these as I can think of is in line with my important things, but might have to have a good think throughout the day.

Simple living

This is the first step of my new life, I will go through one by one and change my life and way of thinking. I found the list by googleing "The simple life".
Make a list of your top 4-5 important things. What’s most important to you? What do you value most?  What 4-5 things do you most want to do in your life? Simplifying starts with these priorities, as you are trying to make room in your life so you have more time for these things.

4.makeup/work
5. keep fit- lose weight


These are the things I value the most and that is what I will start with. I

No pics

Good evening folks, I have thought for a while that it's about time I get some pics on here...but my camera is playing hide and seek with me, but hopefllt I will find it tomorrow so I can liven thing up a bit showing you my latest knitting projects.

Well, some other projects too, but we'll get to that in a while.
It's a short note from me tonight, it's 23,00 and just about time for bed. Have lots of stuff to do tomorrow, including Avon stuff! I love Avon, I really do!!!

Change

It was a change in our plans yesterday,  I forgot that I had said I would make Avon deliveries at 8pm, and after that Kamma needed to go straight to bed, so no P90 for us after all.

This morning on the other hand, we went swimming at tenam , for a full hour. The last 15 minutes I couldn't swim anymore due to the muscle under my ribcage, it was really sore and really bothering me. Started coughing while in the water too. Nevertheless, it was good and I really enjoyed it. Want to start swimming weekly again!!

I have also fasten loose ends and my Matilda shawl, and I will pin it out to block it tonight...if I have time..guesss I have those shirts to iron..! Hmm.should get them washed first I guess. Away I go,

Enough

Enough lazying around, myy granny would never have accepted this. I still have tons to do, and can't just sit and knit all day long. Although I have started knitting a new hat;)

We'll go shopping in just 30 minutes, Princess has "ordered" cooked chicken and tigerbread every weekend so we'll go to Costco to get it, decent price and decent size.

Tonight we are also starting our exercise again, we haven't done anything since October so it's about time now. I have lot several kilos since then so it should be a bit easier to start up...I do remeber it was really hard work though. Good hard work mind you.

I guess this is all for today, have stuff to do, places to ge..;) Hugs.!

Week 3

Week three started today and so far I have only completed one letter this year, and I am not inpressed by myself. The goal is to write 150 letters this year and this is not going as I planned. So, the goal for the day is to finish a letter to Petra, and start on the next one that needs to be finished by Saturday, you all know that is my mailing day.
Just to remind myself...I LOVE writing letters and I love all my penpals!! Get a move on now, they can't wait for your letter forever!!!

Focus

I must have a bit more focus on my eating this next week! I haven't behaved as well as I should. And I am also VERY keen on starting my exercise, but I need to wait just a little while longer, because I might damage my muscle.

anyway. lunch is nearly ready and I am starving. Late on today we are getting our Tesco shopping delivered and we will be stocked up with food for the next week and a bit!

Yes yes

Yes yes, it's Saturday and we have been busy as usual. We were at this years first danceclass and I think Princess really enjoyed. And now  i know, her danceexam is on February 26 so I guess we better start practising at home every day so she passes it with flying colours.

While we were there the mailman came round with my new pencil...
A lime-greem Pentel Graph 1000, limited edition :) I love it! 
Also....husband suddenly started talking to me about a new phone for me...Vigin Media phoned about a good deal as we have been customers for such a long time...So....he is getting me a new phone!!

Apparently it's a HTC Wildfire, which is better than the one I have now..a Sony Ericsson I think.

So it has been a weird day for me, now stuff and new phone. This is not normal happenings for me. 
But I'll take what I get!!

Day 10.

Or is it 11? I am in doubt now...! Still, I have been pretty good to be honest, and this seems to go well. My weigh in was yesterday and i had lost 1.5 lbs, and that is 0.6 kilos and i think that is ok.

I really want to start exercising, but I can just yet. I know I told you about my chest infection, what I didn't know then was that the pain under my ribcage would continue and get worse. I can not stratch, bend, jump run or cough without it hurting,...ALOT, and it seems I have pulled (or something like that) a muscle in my diaphragm and it will take some time to heal...i haven't been to the doctor with this pain, although I did mention it to him last Thursday. I am not sure wheather I should bother him with this or not. one way or the other....I can't do alot of exercise and my weightloss will be slow until I can start moving again.

But hey ho, i can stay away from sweets and stuff like that eh?

Already

Is it Tuesday already? How did that happen...?
I didn't go online all yesterday, I collected my Avon books, and I am telling you....the antibiotics are working...I don't cough as much, and I CAN hear again..BUT there is another problem....my ribcage, lung or whatever it is...it's so sore when I try to brathe in, and move about..can't even bend down to pick something up...If nothing happens that changes this...I thinkI should visit the doctor again..this is just so weird..!

It's kinds funny, I mean to feel like this, cause it rarely happens to me..I am never ill for more than two weeks...and now..I am approachind the end of the fourth week of not feeling well.

Anyway, that's me...I have been knitting abit though,..but only written half a letter! Must get back into it, although it's difficult to focus with this pain in the ribs..!

So..what is next? I have about one hour to do some knitting and then I will head for my bed...I need to get to bed early, would like to read maybe half an hour before turning the light off. Told you I wanted to read more this year! We are already in the second week of the year and I have only written one letter..think I will bring stuff with me tomorrow so I can start on one..making plans, making plans...!

Also, this is day 7 of my 100 day challenge...I nearly had a bag of crisps earlier today...managed to remember my challenge and stay clear..yay for me!!

Sunday

It's Sunday already, my goal for the day is to finish writing a letter to my dear friend Mari, and to knit a bit more!

i  have alreay started 4th repeat of ten, and hopefully today I will finish the 4th and start on the fifth repeat. I am kind of hoping to have it nearly finished by Wednesday because my plan is to get the wool to continue on my cardigan.

My cousin announced he is engaged, so maybe a wedding in a year or so..IF we're invited that is;) I kind of hope so, cause i'd love to show off the new me!  I am not new yet hahaha, but by summertime, I will be very different from what I am now!

Anyway, time to do the dishes and get some lunch!

Result

Yup, I went to the doc, told him about my cough and phlegm over the last 4 weeks, and now pain under the ribcage and loss of hearing...generally not too good these days..although  ~ Iam not actually feeling ill or anything, just a bit bothered.

So, doctor D. listened to my breathing, looked in my ears, took my temperature and looked down my throat.
The result is: Penicillin for a week, 3 times a day, and an inhaler for the wheezing in my chest. that I am to use 4 times a day untul I have stopped coughing.

These Asthma inhalers, yuck, not good tasting...I will be glad when I can put it away and never use it ever again hopefully! And honestly...i can#t wait to get rid of the catharr in my ears, cause I can't bloody hear!!!!

Tomorrow we have another day off, all I am going to do is to go out and deliver my Avon books, I don't have more than 10 books anyway so it will be quick. Hopefully I will get a few orders!

Success,kinda

I got weighed this morning, and the result was not too bad really.My goal was to not put on 5 lbs over the holiday and my weigh in shows that I put on 3.5 lbs.So it is really success!!

Also, my ear is still bothering me,so I have a doctors appointment in 35 minutes...hopefull doc will be able to give me something..!

colour

I am going to go and colour in my first heart...because I am going to bed in just a moment and I* want to be ready for my day two tomorrow, and I am feeling pretty good about it all.

Imagine 100 days...it will be a complete new habit and I am looking forward to it. Vell peepl, time for bed, c u all tomoz.

Day 1

Day one is nearly over, and I have done really well..I must admit that those pink smarties that I know is in the pink Smartie tube right in front of me are veeeery tempting...but I will not be led into temptation by anything or anyone..not yet anyway, hahah! Just another few hours and I can colour in my first little heart!

I don 't know how my weight will be, I mean how much I put on over the holidays...but honestly..I don't care that much because I know I am on the right way anyway. I will start the new years tracking on Friday and I will fill in my whole new trackbook..because Weight Wachers has the most gorgeous trackbooks out this year....and I WANT ONE!! Gotta finish the one I bought before Christmas though.

Anyway, tomorrow is day 2 of my challenge.

Today it has been raining and it was really windy but Husband wanted to go for a walk...but my shoes are no longer waterproof, and I only have jeans for walking, so no need to say i was drenched and pretty cold after our walk to the Antonine Wall near Cumbernauld. I would like to do this walk again, preferably in dry conditions next time..!

100 days


I have been inspired..I had to think of it a few days..I tried it last year but lasted only 3 or 4 weeks...so I have a kind of shorter challenge this time...the challenge is : No sweeties for 100 days. I am going to make a nice little (or BIG) calender for myself, so I can actually manage this time.

Maybe 'I am ready for it this time!! Wish me luck everyone!!!!

Day 2

We're well int the new year by now, *I am still coughing like an old smoker* have had coffee but I am ready for another one by now.

Last night I found my knitting, and knitted a few repetitions on the Botanica, gonna finish it this year!!!!
I also found a book and starting reading it " the tibetan art of living" by Christopher Hansard.

I also wrote a few pages on a letter to my penpal Mari, so I am hoping that this year I will be even more organised than last year. I did pretty ok to be honest, but the last 4 months of the year it started falling apart again. I am not sure why, but I am sure I will last longer than August this time.

So my focus is going to be on keeping track and keeping order. Am I a perfectionist??? NOPE, but that is probably where the problem lies..so I will work on doing things better and doing more.

Sometimes

Sometimes I feel that I need a big clearout, and it seems I have been feeling like this for months. So I have been clearing out for months. Suddenly it hit me....I can actually just throw everything away, what is the point of holding on to things that just creates clutter and stress???

Happy New Year everyone, I hope you have had a great 2011, and that you celebrated the last day of the year with your loved ones.

Now 2012 has started and I will start working towards my new goals. I am still not feeling so great, but it doesn't really stop me..not too much anyway. I am sitting here enjoying my first cup of coffee this year and soon I am going to find my knitting needles for the first time this year, and later I will start writing letters for the first time this year

The first load of washing is already finished, and this is my first post this year too.

The sun is shining, things seems good! Long may it last.
